Body Type Transistor Hearing Aids

Zenith "Extended Life Power Aid" (ELPA) Transistor (Body) Hearing Aid

The Zenith "Extended Life Power Aid" or "ELPA" transistor hearing aid was manufactured by the Hearing Aid Division of the Zenith Radio Corp. in 1970.

The Zenith "ELPA" measured 2½" x 1⅝" x ⅝" thick, and weighed 3 oz. with battery. The case was brushed stainless steel with a medium brown top and bottom.

The name "ZENITH" and the Zenith crest (to its right) are on the lower back of the "ELPA".
